Mara and Costs floated through the vastness of the new universe, far from any known borders. After restoring the balance in the vortex of the infinity and remedying the chaos with the order, they had discovered a new dimension of reality - an invisible network that connects all the universes, all the possibilities. But now, more aware of the fragility of this cosmic order, they felt the reality began to change again.

In the midst of the renewed chaos, the heart of the infinity continues to pulse quietly, but for Mara and Costs, everything had become clear: what they had believed to be the end of their adventure was just a step in a much larger conflict. This provisional harmony, which they had worked so much, was threatened by a new presence, much more subtle and dangerous than the shadows of unlimited. In the string network, an anomaly began to manifest. A point of resistance, a force that does not vibrate in unison with the rest of reality.

"Something is approaching," Mara said, his eyes closed, feeling the increasing tension in the depth. "The strings are affected by another presence. One that I have never encountered."

Costs, next to her, looked carefully at the energy networks that were wavy in front of them, twisted by an unknown force. He also felt the change, a frequency that belonged to neither chaos nor order. Something new but old at the same time. A presence that transcended their concepts of reality.

"If it is not from chaos or order," he asked the costs, "what could it be?"

Mara opened her eyes, eyes that now seemed to reflect the light of all dimensions. "There is a point in the multivers ... a knot that unites all the strings. A place where all the realities meet, but not only as mere parallel dimensions. This knot is older than the multiverse. The legends call it the knot of the gods."

The costs remained silent for a moment. The knot of the gods was not just a myth. Each advanced civilization in the multiverse had a form of this myth-a place where creators beyond any human understanding watched over the realities, holding them in a precarious balance. But few believed that this place really existed.

"Do you think these ... gods control the strings? That they created chaos and order?" he asked the Costs, with an unbelieving look.

Mara nodded slowly. "I do not think they have created everything, but if the node exists, they are the ones who have set the realities as we know them. And if we feel this presence now, it means that something happens at that fundamental level."

In front of them, the space began to open, revealing a portal, a break in the fabric of reality that vibrated with overwhelming energy. This was not a mere dissonance between strings, but a meeting point of all the forces that made up the multiverse. It was clear that the knot of the gods had become active and that that unknown presence was preparing to intervene in their reality.

Mara and Costs had no choice. They had to enter this knot and discover the source of the disorders before the entire cosmic balance was destroyed. In front of them, the portal vibrated with a strange power, inviting them to enter the heart of the greatest enigma.

As they passed through the portal, they felt the reality transform. Time was no longer linear. Matter and energy merged into an impossible landscape. They were in a place where the laws of physics were malleable, where every thought could shape the form of the surrounding world. In front of them, a huge structure, a fortress of light and darkness, rose out of nothing - the knot of the gods, the place where everything and nothing coexisted.

"This is the central point," Mara murmured. "Here, all the realities meet. Here, the creators of the multiverse watch over the strings."

But as they went, Costs noticed that something was wrong. Around the fortress, the strings seemed to be cut, twisted in a dangerous chaos. It was as if the knot itself had been attacked, and its balance, destroyed.

"Who would be strong enough to do this?" he asked.

Mara didn't answer immediately. He felt that the answer was in the heart of the knot. In front of them, a silhouette began to get out of the dark - a tall, almost ethereal being, but with an aura of immense power. An entity that seemed to be created from the strings themselves.

"I am the last," said the entity, his voice resonating as an old echo, from the depths of time. "The last of those who watched the realities. I was created to maintain the balance. But now, the balance has been broken."

Mara felt a thrill passing through it. "How was it broken? And who broke it?"

The last one reached for his hands, pointing to the contorted strings around. "The balance was destabilized by your conflicts. Realities cannot bear this tension. The shadows of unlimited, your travels through the temporal nodes and the distortions in space weakened the node. I was the only one who survived."

Costs advance with one step, aware of the severity of what was said. "If the balance is broken, will the multiverse collapse?"

"Not just the multiverse," the last one replied. "But all possible realities. Everything that exists or could exist will be absorbed by the primordial chaos. And I do not have the power to restore this balance alone."

Mara now understood the true gravity of the situation. The knot of the gods was not just a central point of the multiverse. It was the axis that held together all the possible realities, and without the wakers to maintain the order, the strings will be broken, absorbing each dimension in chaos.

"What can we do?" she asked, her voice reflecting an emergency she had never felt before.

The last one looked at them with a deep sadness. "To restore the balance, you must become the new wakers. Without you, the knot will be lost forever, and the unlimited will swallow everything."

Mara and Costs looked. Were they ready for such a responsibility? Were they ready to become part of the structure of the multiverse, to sacrifice their freedom to protect everything?

"It must be another way," he said to Costs slowly.

"There is no other way," the last one replied. "If you do not accept, everything will perish."

Mara looked around, feeling the strings breaking faster. He knew they had to make an impossible choice, but a necessary one. "We will accept," she said, despite the doubts that kneaded.

The last one reached for his hands, and the strings around them merged, enveloping the Mara and the Costs in a dazzling light. They felt how their consciences expanded, becoming one with the knot, part of the structure itself.

And then, in a moment of absolute clarity, Mara understood the truth: it was not about control or power. It was about harmony. About allowing all the realities to exist, without dominating them. The knot of the gods was not only a center of force, but a place of infinite creation.

At that moment, they had become more than observers. They were the new architects of reality, the guardians of the strings that held everything together. The multiverse continued to pulse, and they were now part of this eternal pulse, wakers of the fragile balance between chaos and order.

But, in the shadow of their new perceptions, another force was agitated. One who was waiting to test the limits of the new hubs.
