STRING: Creation, Fiction, and Possible Worlds

The StrING program proposes an interdisciplinary course dedicated to creation, speculative fiction, literature, film, music, play and reflection on the future. Activities bring together hands-on workshops, conversations, demonstrations and a sci-fi literary competition, giving participants the opportunity to explore different ways of imagining, building and expressing possible worlds.
In the program, technology and artificial intelligence are approached as tools of creation, not as ends in themselves. Participants will experience AI-assisted music composition, strategy and imagination games, the translation of literary text into a film script, eco-creative activities inspired by nature and the theme of "Immortality", viewed through the filter of myth, literature, science, fiction and the future.
The program encourages personal expression, critical thinking, collaboration and dialogue between generations, preserving the spirit of Atlantykron: curiosity, imagination, living culture and education through direct experience.
- WORKSHOP: Music, Identity, AI,
carries out its activityat the "CENTRU STRING" PAVILION
Coordinating:Dr. Eng. Alexandru-Ionuț CHIUţĂ
Artificial intelligence does not compose music. You compose — with her help.
AI tools have changed the way young creators explore musical sound, lyricism and emotion. But technology remains a tool, not an author. In this workshop, we'll discover together how to use AI-powered music and lyric generators to give shape to your ideas—without the need for a studio, a guitar, or years of music theory.
We will work directly, with real examples, with mistakes made and with results you can take home. We will also talk about what it means to be an author in the age of AI: rights, ethics, own voice.
It doesn't matter if you've never sung.
- WORKSHOP: Borderless games with artificial intelligence
carries out its activityat the "CENTRU STRING" PAVILION
Coordinating:Dr. Eng. Alexandru-Ionut CHIUTA
A game doesn't need translation. You learn it by watching, you play it anywhere in the world, you understand it with your hands.
The "without borders" series brings together offline applications built with one principle: the game belongs to everyone. Each app is a standalone HTML file — zero telemetry, zero external dependencies, available on any device, in any context. In our workshop we will use these as starting points to explore the history, strategy, mathematics and philosophy of abstract play—and the role of artificial intelligence in all of this.
The workshop requires no previous experience. Ask for curiosity.
